Bayless Electric Terms and Conditions

These Bayless Electric terms and conditions explain what customers can expect when accepting an estimate, scheduling service, making payments or authorizing electrical work. Please review the information below before approving work or using Bayless Electric services.

Effective Date: July 2026

Thank you for choosing Bayless Electric. We appreciate the opportunity to serve you. By accepting an estimate, scheduling service, or authorizing work, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

Estimates

All estimates are based on the information available at the time they are prepared.

If unforeseen conditions, hidden damage, code requirements, or customer-requested changes are discovered during the project, additional work may be required. Any changes affecting pricing will be discussed and approved before additional work is performed whenever possible.

Scheduling

Appointments are scheduled based on technician availability.

While we make every effort to arrive on time, weather, emergency service calls, traffic, supplier delays, or unforeseen job conditions may occasionally require schedule adjustments.

If we need to reschedule your appointment, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing safe access to the work area.
  • Ensuring electrical panels and equipment are accessible.
  • Securing pets during service appointments.
  • Informing Bayless Electric of any known hazards or existing electrical issues before work begins.

Delays caused by inaccessible work areas may result in additional service charges.

Permits & Inspections

When required by law, Bayless Electric will obtain the necessary permits and coordinate required inspections unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Inspection schedules are controlled by the local permitting authority and are outside of Bayless Electric’s control.

Payment Terms

Payment is due according to the terms listed on your invoice unless other arrangements have been made in writing.

Bayless Electric reserves the right to charge applicable late fees or suspend future services on past-due accounts.

Change Orders

Any work requested outside the original estimate may require additional charges.

Whenever practical, pricing will be approved before the additional work begins.

Warranty

Bayless Electric stands behind the quality of its workmanship.

Manufacturer warranties remain subject to each manufacturer’s terms and conditions.

Warranty coverage does not apply to:

  • Customer-supplied materials
  • Misuse or abuse
  • Alterations performed by others
  • Acts of nature
  • Power surges
  • Normal wear and tear

Existing Conditions

Bayless Electric is not responsible for pre-existing wiring defects, concealed damage, or code violations that were not visible or reasonably discoverable before work began.

If unsafe conditions are discovered, work may be paused until appropriate corrective action is approved.

Utility Interruptions

Some electrical work may require temporary interruption of electrical service. Bayless Electric will make reasonable efforts to minimize downtime but is not responsible for loss of food, business interruption, electronic data, alarm activation, or other incidental damages resulting from necessary power interruptions associated with the work.

Limitation of Liability

Bayless Electric is not responsible for delays or damages caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including weather events, utility outages, manufacturer delays, or actions of third parties.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bayless Electric’s liability shall be limited to the value of the services provided.

Cancellations

Please provide as much notice as possible if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment.

Repeated last-minute cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a service charge.

Photography

Bayless Electric may photograph completed work for documentation, warranty records, training, or marketing purposes.

No personally identifying information will be shared without permission.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State of Washington.

Acceptance
